Covert Technology
Covert Printing cannot be detected by naked eyes and it requires special tool proper for that anti-counterfeit attribute or may have to use specific technique in detecting whether that printed matter is authentic. The advantage of Covert Printing is the difficulty of copying due to the technology that is invisible to general people. Thus, when adding into printed matters, it may not be recognized by fraudulent group, causing inability to counterfeit or if it can be counterfeited, it will be not entirely the same and anti-counterfeiting level is also increased to be more complicated. The printed matters required for high level of anti-counterfeit may apply the integration of both Overt Printing and Covert Printing Technology in the printing process. The types of Covert Printing Technology consist of the following.
1. Invisible Ink
The documents printed with this kind of ink is invisible to naked eyes, however, the fluorescence in various colors is visible under black UV light (Ultra Violet Light).
2. Special Invisible Ink
The documents printed by this kind of ink is invisible to naked eyes, however, the fluorescence in various colors is visible when looking under special UV lamp.
3. Bi fluorescence Ink
The documents printed by this ink is invisible to naked eyes, however, the fluorescence in various colors is visible under special multi frequencies UV lamp.
4. Starbright Ink
This kind of ink is invisible to naked eyes, however, the special detector pen must be used in order to see green fluorescent point or other colors according to particular wavelength.
5. Multi Invisible Ink
The ink kind of is invisible to naked eyes and several types of special detector- tools must be used in order to see the fluorescence or fluorescent point in various colors.
